Part of the Intermittent Community Work Program, Springboard's Substance Use Program for Impaired Drivers is a psycho-educational program that introduces participants to concepts used in substance use rehabilitation in order to motivate them to enter more intensive rehabilitation if required, thus reducing the harmful consequences caused by drinking and driving. One of the seven sessions includes a victim impact panel, led by a speaker from MADD Canada who has been directly affected by the actions of an impaired driver.
