Tell me a bit about yourself

I am an alumni of P2P. Now I’m a mentor plus I’m currently at George Brown College finishing my community worker program. 1st I spend a lot of time in art, I love art, I love visual fashion jewelry, lyrics rhymes in the hip-hop tradition.

My Business:  Teddy King Creations

This is my side hustle. It’s all about Arts, Fashion Jewelry.  Since I’ve been in school, my focus is on school, my passion for art always draws me to continue creating,

whether fashion art or jewelry pieces. When I was a P2P participant this is what I was doing: events, going to art shows, open mikes, barbeques and once there I would set up a table and sell my wares.

What keeps you up at night?

Basically thinking about the next move. And then the stress of how I’m going to execute. That’s the stressor.

What was the best piece of advice you ever received?

Stay on course. I remember what a P2P mentor told me; he used the example of a man who dug for gold and gave up when he only had a few inches to go. Even though you don’t receive results, right.
