Pathways to Construction Trades

Pathways to Construction Trades is a free 5-week training program, supporting youth (ages 15-29) by providing industry-required certification and safety training to start a career in Construction. Youth will have the opportunity to obtain industry recognized certifications including: WHMIS, Forklift, Scissor Lift, Working at Heights, Fall Protection, Fall Arrest, etc. Youth will also participate in Virtual Reality Career Explorations, gain access to Springboard Community Learning HUB platform, and obtain life skills and Soft Skills training certification and pre-employment skills development. Paid training stipend, financial supports and paid job placement are also available.
